With all the recent talk of swine flu, I wanted to warn my clients of the possibility of the bad guys using this to their advantage. Beware of sites that claim to offer new information and news. Stick with the source at the cdc. http://www.cdc.gov/
Many websites have been registered regarding the swine flu craze, just want to make sure you are at a trusted site.

Wanted to post a quick note for anyone searching.
PDF creator to create PDF documents now contains a malware toolbar. This tool replaces your 404 results with a ad driven info page( hosted at: urlseek20.vmn.net) .
I do not recommend to any of my clients PDF Creator from http://www.pdfforge.org
Here is a great description of frustation this program can cause:

We are proud to announce we will be moving our server to dedicated hosting. This will add speed and reliability to all of our clients sites. Our scheduled move will take place Jan 09. There should be no impact to any sites hosted with Brucepro.

I have noticed the shared host that is used for client hosting has been added to the blacklist on many servers. We are researching options for moving our sites to a dedicated host. This will resolve the problem of being blacklisted. The servers have been contacted and I hope to have our ip removed from the list asap.

I recently attended the HighEdWeb 2008 conference in Springfield, MO. As always the best part of the conference are the conversations with the other professionals in the field. One of the lectures I attended, a discussion started on the state of the web and where we are going.
It is time to focus on the mobile browsers. The texters, the natives of the future. The speaker at the conference showed web 1.0 as safe, quiet, secure(Suburbs), then web 2.0 as changing, not so safe, crowded(City). So my thought was, we are heading back to the social network of the campfire. All those that you connect with online, they share your day with you, they are all part of the story you are telling during the day.
They share, we share, everyone feels and understands a connection to each other through the process of status updates, blogs, tweets(twitter.com) all of these emerging technologies.
So sit with me. Roast some marshmallows and we can discuss the future.
